This unit is ideal for small farm general use, horse paddock fencing, poultry and protecting pheasant pens. The P450 Hobby is powered by a 12v rechargeable leisure battery. The Amp/hr rating of the battery will determine the charging interval, for example a 55 amp/hr battery will require charging approximately every 10 weeks. The LED will flash GREEN when the unit is working correctly, but will change to RED when the battery requires re-charging. A buzzer will sound if the battery terminals are connected incorrectly.

0.1 joules stored energy makes this unit ideal for use with the 25m Poultry Netting. It can be used with the 50m lengths but the power/shock may not be sufficient to deter a fox or other target species, or even keep poultry/sheep in an enclosure.
The unit attaches to Poly wire, Poly tape, galvanised wire, electric netting or tread-in post.

- A Standard door is approx. 22 by 33 cm and made from aluminium.

Note: The only difference between the internal and external version is the mounting of the light sensor. On the Internal version, the light sensor is mounted on the end of a lead, so it can be positioned away from the VSB unit - the VSB unit can still be safely mounted outside.
